The MyHATT staff of volunteers come from families that have hosted multiple exchange students over the years or have traveled extensively to different parts of the world or have served for a length of time on missions in various countries. So not only do we all enjoy different flavor sensations from around the world, we have a passion for the people and the cultures that we have experienced.

MyHATT has given all of us a chance to share what we have learned while learning ourselves. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't feel enriched by what we do. Our Mission?

MyHATT is dedicated to making the world just a little less complicated through better understanding and better appreciation of those that live in it. There is so much to gain here. We become better and the world benefits from it.

"Our first exchange student was from Indonesia in 1962 and that experience led our family to host another 36 students over the years. Each has brought different challenges but each has also given our family such great joy - not only in the experience but in the understanding. In our family, it was just as important to learn as it was to share and our lives have been so enriched by each experience. To this day, that first exchange student in 1962 is still my brother and that will never change."
